What is Dancing Panda?

Dancing Panda is an educational technology company that sends parents, families, and caregivers regular messages with curated, offline, and grade-level appropriate games and activities that families can do together in everyday moments.

How much does Dancing Panda cost?

We currently offer three kinds of subscriptions - a monthly subscription that costs $9/month, a 6-month subscription that costs $54/6-months, and an annual subscription that costs $75/year. Please go to our Join Us Page if you’d like to buy a subscription.

Why is the company called Dancing Panda?

Great question! When our founder, Deb Lee, was trying to think of a name for the company, she knew she wanted to name it after something that acknowledged her Chinese-American heritage. In addition, she wanted the company name to include an animal, as all children love animals. So, she considered two popular Chinese animals - dragons and pandas. However, when she thought about it more - she realized pandas are really cute, so she decided to go with pandas. But then, she wanted to describe her panda to be doing something fun that kids would like since she was creating a company for children. She considered Happy Panda, Jumping Panda, and even Singing Panda (as Deb likes to sing), but in the end, went with “Dancing Panda” because everyone is happy when they are dancing.

What grades does Dancing Panda provide games for?

Currently, we provide games for 2nd grade. Traditionally in the United States, this is for children ages 7 and 8years old. We plan to add games for children in grades PreK, K, 1st, and 3rd grade as well.

It’s summertime. Which grade level should I sign up my kid for?

What’s the difference between the free and paid Dancing Panda Accounts?

Currently, Dancing Panda messages are sent weekly. Free activities have an advertisement on them. In addition, free customers are sent the “activity of the week” and the same link every week leads them to that week’s activity. Conversely, paid customers of the premium accounts will always have access to the activities sent to them, and users are sent every quarter a list of all activities that were sent to them.

Once you have paid for a subscription and signed up for a pass to Dancing Panda’s playground, please then log-in to your account. Click on Login from the top of any page on Dancing Panda’s website to access the Dancing Panda’s playground.
